OUR STORY
ROSEANDER MAINRoseander Main is a small design-communications agency located in Toronto, Canada. The studio has been in business for more than 15 years. We work primarily in the print medium and are fully competent with online and digital media, collaborating with associate experts as required. Maintaining a horizontal, boutique structure keeps us very focused on the projects at hand and working directly with our clients. We favour clarity, brevity and sincerity. |
|
EXPERIENCEWe work primarily with small and mid-sized businesses, for whom we function as the agency of record, offering a complete package of marketing and communication services. We also maintain relationships with several large multinational corporations. We’re fully scalable and enjoy interesting projects of all sizes. Historically speaking, our clients are found in the following industries: outdoor recreation, footwear, publishing, environmental/social stewardship and financial services.

RELATIONSHIPSWe enjoy collaboration with forward thinking, courageous partners. We nurture kinship with our clients, many of whom have worked with us for years. Over time, we understand their businesses, their goals, and the language of their environment. Because we become so integrated, for many of our clients we become a sort of in-house design department. It gives clients peace of mind to know we are always there for them. It feels good for everyone when we share the same goals and the collaborative process brings success. Joy is the aim. |
|
OUR APPROACHOur approach is to listen, ask questions, research, discuss, plan ahead and then implement. The process is very adaptable and delivers tailored solutions to the problem at hand. The surest way to derail a design exercise is to misinterpret the brief or disregard the nuance of a client’s request. The questions we ask foster clarity. |

OUR NAMERoseander Main is a remote logging road in the heart of Vancouver Island, and has been witness to more than one adventure in our lives. The road leads deep into the forest, far from the nearest town, and ends at one of the most beautiful places on earth, Carmanah Valley. This area was in jeopardy of clearcutting in the late 1980s, but was saved, and now stands as one of the few significant pieces of virgin forest remaining in the west.
