About Canadian Cycling Magazine

Canadian Cycling Magazine is a newsstand title that supports cycling across the country. From advocacy to bike-packing, and from North-Shore shredding to the brutality of cyclocross, Canadian Cycling Magazine is THE active voice. All disciplines of cycling have grown tremendously through the pandemic and the title now reaches over 2,747,000 cycling consumers every month.

The Project

We developed and brand ID for the magazine which would help orient the magazine on the newsstand and online. While this was originally primarily a print entity, online content is now extremely important to the title. Our brand system has expanded to include subsections such as Canadian MTB and Gravel and a podcast, and constitutes constitutes a stable platform for scaling.

Six times per year, we design a print magazine which has a rigid yet modular set of standards that are followed to ensure consistency from issue to issue, and which enable a strong navigation system.
