About Canadian Running Magazine
Running has experienced a remarkable boom in the last few years which has far surpassed the first wave in the 1970s. The popularity of the Marathon as a personal goalpost, and a growth in charity-based events have made running an accessible ‘Everest’ for nearly everyone.
Canadian Running serves over 4,800,000 running consumers every month in Canada and abroad. The editorial team, which includes Olympic athletes and elite-level runners, produces excellent content across all its channels to promote the sport in Canada.
The Project
Roseander Main has done some running too, and development of this title inspired a few marathons and a trip to the Boston Mecca. We’ve created a branding package and a magazine structure that reflects the diversity found in the sport. The magazine communicates well to elite athletes and to those that are conquering there first 5K. The magazine is clearly departmentalized and the design structure supports that—the title is readily consumed in easily digestible chunks—we aim to help bring running into view for everyone. You too!
Canadian Running is our answer to America’s Runner’s World. We bring a full spectrum of news, training tips and product reviews to over 125,000 monthly readers.
